Darin Michael Moore began his journey on April 5, 1969, in Springfield, Missouri.
Darin graduated from Lewistown, Illinois High School in 1987 and earned his Masters of Education-Physical Education Degree from Kent State in Ohio.
He spent the last 17 years at Missouri Southern State University as the Director of Sports Medicine and the Head Athletic Trainer, but even more a mentor, encourager, and friend.
Darin met Stephanie who became the love of his life. A year and a half later they married on July 7, 2007. Darin was an exceptional husband, but an even more amazing dad to Ella Madeline.
In addition he is survived by his Mother Helen Julian and Step-Father Ed Julian, his Father Terry Moore, his brothers Adam Julian and Nathan Moore, and his sister Lindsey Moore. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He and his family are members of Hope City Church in Joplin, Missouri.
Darin loved backpacking, fishing, outdoor activities, showing sheep, sports, and the Cleveland Indians. He never hesitated to help someone and will always be remembered as a very exceptional man with the best smile!
Darin became the best Guardian Angel Heaven has ever gained on November 6, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Darin Moore Athletic Training Endowment at Missouri Southern State University or the Ella Moore College Scholarship Fund in care of Parker Mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin
