Charles “Eric” Reed, age 35, of Joplin, left this earthly plane on Monday November 7, 2017.
Eric was born on November 16, 1981 in Joplin the son of Charles “Mark” Reed and Sylvia Sue Porter. He has been a lifetime area resident. He worked as an upholsterer for Kruger’s Sales & Service. He was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church. He had a big heart, a big smile and a sense of humor to match them both. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure”.
Eric is survived by five sons, Damian Reed, Aiden Reed, Joshua Reed, Jaxon Reed and Dakota Wallace; three daughters, Falysha Reed, Hailey Reed and Abby Reed, all of Joplin. His father Charles “Mark” Reed of Joplin; his mother, Sylvia Sue Porter, Joplin; one sister, Sarah Reed, Baxter Springs, Ks; and close family friends Murray Kruger and Debra Jackson.
Eric will be cremated with services to be held at a later date. Information will be posted when arrangements have been made.
