Doris Elaine (Baker) Bradshaw, age 90 of Joplin, passed away on Monday November 6, 2017, at Spring River Christian Village, following an illness.
Doris was born on September 1, 1927 in Jasper, Mo., the daughter of the late Harvey Henderson and Ara Minty (Campbell) Law. She has been a lifetime area resident. She worked as a secretary for Jasper County Title Company and Abbey Title Company. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
She married Ernest Baker on September 23, 1945 and together they raised two children. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1972. She married Charles Bradshaw on May 14, 1977 and he preceded her in death in June of 1993.
Doris is survived by one daughter, Sharon Hamm, Joplin; one son, Charles Baker and wife Joanne, Greenwich, Conn.; one brother, Owen Law, Bakersfield, Ca.; two grandchildren, Amanda Baker and Candra Griffith; two great-grandchildren, Jillian Bosch and husband Taylor, and Joelle Guthrie and fiancé Nick McBreairty all of Kansas City, Mo.; and one great-great-granddaughter on the way.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. B.A. Austin, Minister will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemeteries. The pallbearers will be Pat Law, Kelly Law, Paul Guthrie, Ron Vorce, Jerry Smith, Taylor Bosch.
The visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in care of the mortuary. The family will be at the home of the daughter.
