Thomas A. Hutchins, Jr. passed away on October 31, 2017.
He was born on October 8, 1937 in Hartley, DE.
Thomas is survived by his wife of sixty years, Joyce Hutchins, of Monett, MO. They were married on June 1, 1957 in Denton, MD.
He is survived by his three sons, David Hutchins and his wife Karen, of Springfield, IL, Eric Hutchins, of Fayetteville, AR and Michael Hutchins and wife Stacy, of Neosho, MO; two daughters, Shelly Johnson and husband Kenny, of Neosho, MO and Joyce Allred and husband Gail, of Monett, MO; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas A. and Alice R. Hutchins; and one daughter Linda Dutton.
Thomas worked for many years as a carpenter and was always willing to help with making repairs and building homes and farm buildings. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and taking trips to Branson.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Family Worship Center in Monett. Pastor Fernando Gonzalez will be officiating. Interment will be held at the King’s Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mercy Home Health and Hospice, Cassville, MO in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO
