Wynn Knight, 72, Neosho, was called to our Lord on November 1, 2107 at his home with his wife, family, friends and faithful dog by his side. He fought a long battle with kidney and heart disease.
He was the son of Ora and Luella (Bunnell) Knight and was born in Rogers, Arkansas. Wynn lived most of his life in the southwest Missouri area. He owned and operated several businesses including five transmission shops, a restaurant, convenient store, auto sales and repair, rental property and farmed some also. He loved fishing with friends, game birds and watching football.
Wynn married Victoria Mae (Seward) on December 21, 1971 and she survives. He is also survived by a daughter Jackie (John) Wren of Neosho; a son, James Knight of Neosho; a brother, Ben (Esta) Knight, Neosho, a sister, Betty Duncan of Zephyrhills, Florida; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 3 step-children and numerous step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Charles Knight, his children’s mother, Doris Ann (Tracy) Knight; two brothers, George Wayne Knight and Edwin Ora Knight; and daughter in law, Kristina Knight.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Rev. Todd Wolfe will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 3 from
5 – 7 at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, MO.
