Helen I. Harper, 89, Neosho, entered into rest on December 28, 2017 at Medicalodge in Neosho, following an illness.
Helen was born Sept. 30, 1928 in Branson, Missouri and moved to the Neosho area in 1931. She worked at Sunbeam in Neosho for many years.
She enjoyed sewing and was of the Baptist faith.
Helen married James ‘Jimmy’ Harper on Nov. 5, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas and he preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2013.
She is survived by a son, George Allen Harper of Arizona; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Gene Wright of Wyandotte, OK.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Bobby Joe Harper.
It was Helen’s request to be cremated and no services to be held.
