Ivan Winkelman

January 29, 1927 - July 8, 2025

Ivan Reuel Winkelman passed away on July 8, 2025. He was born in Neosho, Missouri, to Harvey and Effie (Crabtree) Winkelman.

Ivan proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War 2 and later worked as a skilled carpenter. He attended the Church of Christ.

Throughout his life, Ivan was married to Edna Grant, then to Margery Grant, and later to Ruth Turner, who preceded him in death on November 6, 1996.








He found great joy in gardening and carpentry, and he was known for his quiet strength, steady hands, and love for family.

Ivan is survived by his daughter Paula De Cillis of Gig Harbor, WA; his son Eldon Winkelman; step-daughters Carol Hamilton of Gig Harbor, WA, and Claudia Toback of Warsaw, MO; his siblings Bill Winkelman, Lily Luquette, Julia Wittman, Jane Barrier, Lorraine Smith, and Alicia Vostrej along with seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home – Chapel of Memories in Neosho, with burial to follow at Regan Cemetery. Ivan Winkelman will be laid to rest with full military honors in recognition of his service to his country.
