Ronnie Ray

Ronnie Max Ray of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 17, 1947, to Laverne and Tessie (Reed) Ray, Ronnie was a devoted son, brother, father, and friend.

A graduate of Cassville High School, Ronnie was a talented and dedicated master carpenter. Over the years, he applied his skills at Ozark Homes, Taylor Homes and R&J Remodeling, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and hard work.








Ronnie was a faithful attendee of First Free Will Baptist Church. He had a love for beauty and creativity that showed in his hobbies—he enjoyed growing flowers, attending auctions, antique shopping, and decorating with a unique and thoughtful touch.

He is survived by his children: Jason (Caroline) Ray, John (Lynn) Carroll, Robin (Tom) Vance, Dena Carroll, Lynn (Louis) Spor, and Joe (Dena) Carroll. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary (Melvin) Harris, Norma Gibson, Luther (Rowena) Ray, Mike (Terri) Ray, Joyce (Charles) Bacon and Linda Welch along with seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Tessie Ray, and his brothers, Bob Ray and Leon Ray.







Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home – Chapel of Memories in Neosho. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Barry Reel. Interment will take place at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Missouri.

Ronnie will be remembered for his kind heart, skilled hands, and love for the simple joys in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
