(From Ozark Funeral Home)April Lea Randall, age 65, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Southwest City, Missouri, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, after months of failing health. She entered this life on March 3, 1960, in Neosho, Missouri, daughter of the late C.A. and Joan (Smith) Harnar.
A lifelong resident of Southwest City, April graduated from McDonald County High School in 1978. Her dedication to her work was evident in her nearly 30-year tenure at Simmons Foods, where she was not only a valued employee but also a friend to many.
April's life was marked by her devotion to her family. She is survived by her three loving children, Joshua Johnson of Water Valley, Mississippi, Janae Rojas of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Joniesha Randall of Anderson, Missouri. Her joy was multiplied by her four grandchildren, Laura Padilla of Rogers, Arkansas, Alex Padilla of Bentonville, Arkansas, Cristofer Rojas of Rogers, Arkansas, and Alexia Rojas of Bentonville, Arkansas, who will carry her legacy forward. April also leaves behind her sister, Rhoda Barth of Southwest City, Missouri, who shared in many of life's journeys with her. A host of other family members and friends will fondly remember April's kindness and warmth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Max Randall.
April's interests were simple yet deeply rooted in the fabric of her daily life. She found pleasure in shopping, solving cross word puzzles, and, most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment she spent with them, instilling in them the values of love, compassion, and resilience. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Those who knew April will remember her for her infectious laugh, her willingness to lend a helping hand, and her unwavering support for her loved ones. Her presence in the community was a constant source of comfort and strength, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
