Ida Mae House age 84 of Webb City passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her daughter’s home.
She was born on June 5, 1933 to Elmer Grisham and Mildred (Tibbs) Grisham in Watts, Oklahoma. Ida was a housewife and a member of The Bible Church in Webb City.
She married Charley House on December 28, 1955 in Oronogo and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2007.
Ida is survived by her children, Janie Liles and husband Bill of Airport Drive, Nancy Brookshire and husband Kim of Webb City, James House and wife Shelly of Webb City; Patricia House of Webb City; grandchildren, Max Liles and wife Bekah of Webb City, Melanie Evitts and husband Jacob of Carterville, Nathan House and wife Baylee of Neck City, Ethan House and wife Stephanie of Carterville, Kimberly Thomason and husband Eric of Oronogo, Justin Brookshire of Airport Drive; nine great-grandchildren and two on the way; brother, Joe Grisham and wife Jeane of Watts, OK; and a sister, Neona Scott of Webb City; along with cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Ida loved learning and teaching the Bible's message of grace, and truly loved all her family and friends; she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Pastor Darren Wallace officiating. The family will be present for visitation on Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Webb City Cemetery.
