Berry Stephens

Berry Joe Stephens, 47, Joplin, MO formerly of Seneca, MO, passed away suddenly January 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

Berry Joe Stephens was born June 16, 1970 in Neosho, MO the son of Joe and Janice (Golden) Stephens. He was a member MENSA Society. He worked for Standard Transportation in Joplin, MO and was a member of Swars Prairie Baptist Church south of Seneca, MO.

Berry is survived by his mother and father Joe and Janice Stephens, Seneca; his fiancĂ©’ Stephanie Huffman, Joplin; children, Ashlee Ghadyani and Kevin, Overland Park, KS, Sarek Stephens, Joplin, MO, Kira Stephens, Joplin and Briana Stephens, Joplin; two brothers, Trenton Stephens, Independence, MO and Darrin Stephens and Kandice, Seneca, MO; nieces and nephews, Travis Stephens and Anna, Cherry Point, NC, Rebecka Stephens, Warrensburg, MO, Nicholas Stephens, Seneca, Veronica Gibbs, Peculiar, MO, Josephine Stephens, Peculiar, MO and a host of extended family and friends. 
 
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. 
 
Funeral services under the directions of Campbell-Biddlecome, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church with Pastor Evert Staib officiating.
Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Dusty Whitehead, Paul Carver, Jack Lankford, Brian Stone, Todd Stone, Rich McCready and Nicholas Stephens serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Ruby Durham Scholarship Fund in care of the Swars Prairie Baptist Church. Please make checks payable to Swars Prairie Baptist Church in memo line place Ruby Durham Scholarship mail to PO Box 562 Seneca, MO 64865.
