Mr. Johnnie “John” Verzil Lewis, 68, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday evening, January 13, 2018, at Freeman Neosho Hospital after a brief illness.
John entered this life on May 4, 1949, in Granby, Missouri, born to the union of the late Joe and Shirley (Hood) Lewis. He was raised in Granby, Missouri and was a 1967 graduate of Granby High School. Throughout his life he worked in the field of construction. Johnnie has been a resident of Anderson, Missouri, since 1990.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Michael Lewis and Pam Armstrong.
John is survived by his two children, Johnnie Lewis and wife, Shauna, of Granby, Missouri and Sasha Robison and husband, Mickey, of Stella, Missouri; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Lewis of Neosho, Missouri and Dale Lewis of Granby, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services for Mr. Lewis are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Granby First Church of God with Pastor Ashley Edgemon officiating. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
