(From Parker Mortuary)William “Bill” Joseph Ohlhausen Jr., age 63, of Carterville, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Solace House in Joplin.
Bill, son of William Joseph and Gloria (Zortz) Ohlhausen Sr., was born on August 31, 1959, in Pittsburg, KS. He served his country honorably in the United State Marine Corps and then became the owner of 4 State Auto Auction in Carterville.
Bill was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed being with his family, but his joy came from his grandchildren and being a grandfather.
Survivors include his mother, Gloria Ohlhausen, of Diamond; his daughter, Danyele Hollingsworth, and her husband, Chris, of Duenweg; siblings, John Ohlhausen, and his wife, JoAnn, of Granby, and Christy Page, and her husband, Danny, of Carl Junction; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his father, William Joseph Ohlhausen Sr.
Private family committal of ashes will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
