(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Nancy Joan Courtright, age 84, of Neosho, Missouri passed away Sunday March 12, 2023.
She was born August 3, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri to John and Dorothy (Shultz) Ellis.
Nancy was a cook for the former McCune Brooks Hospital. She loved her family and enjoyed being with them. She loved flowers and being outdoors watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play.
She married Bobby Courtright in Pico Rivera, California on July 18, 1959, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1993. Also preceding her were her parents and one brother, Ronald Ellis.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Cindy Crossno, Joplin, Missouri, Tammy (Steve) Scribner, Neosho, Missouri; three brothers, Charles “Norman” Ellis, Gerald Ellis, Gary Ellis; four grandchildren, Cassie Crossno, Samantha (Nick) Walters, Nathan (Chelsea) Scribner, and Jared Scribner, along with three great grandchildren, Alexis, Colby, and Zoey Walters as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday March 15, 2023, at the Wild Rose Cemetery in Webb City with Bob Heath officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00- 7:00 pm Tuesday March 14, 2023, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
