Jean Bebee

Della “Jean” Bebee gained her heavenly wings on Monday, February 26, 2024 while surrounded by a loving family. Jean was born on April 21, 1947 to the late Delmar and Margaret Slankard.

Jean lived in the Joplin MO area for most of her life where she was surrounded with loving family and friends. 

On July 6, 1968, she married Elmer Richard Bebee. She loved spending time with her family. 

Jean had an amazing gift of making everyone laugh. She would welcome anyone into her home and life with love and open arms. You would often find Jean at the casino where she loved to spend her time ( and money..) She also enjoyed watching movies, playing cards and simply going fishing at the creek. Jean truly was a gift from God and will be greatly missed by all family and friends.

Jean is preceded in death by Husband Elmer Richard Bebee, Mother Margaret Slankard, Father Delmar Slankard, Brother Charles Slankard, Brother Bill Slankard, Sister Carol Sue, Sister Teresa, Sister Mary Loraine and Granddaughter Katie. Jean is survived by Son Charles Felts of Joplin, Daughter Roxanne and Son in Law Craig Neblett of Carl Junction, Son Travis Bebee of Joplin, and Son Troy Bebee of Joplin, Granddaughter Lacie and Husband Matt Smith, Granddaughter Ashley Cooper, Granddaughter Shayla Bebee, Granddaughter Chloe Bebee and Granddaughter Cierra Bebee. Jean is also survived by many beautiful and loving Great-Grandchildren.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Jean will be held at Mason-Woodard Mortuary on Friday 03/01/2024 at 10:00am with burial service following at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, MO.

Pallbearers include Troy Bebee, Travis Bebee, Charles Felts, Craig Neblett, Matt Smith, Keith Neblett and Justin Hicks.
