(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Sean William Schubert, 18, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, in Carthage, Missouri. Sean was born on August 3, 2005, to Aaron Schubert and Kelly Hayzlet in Joplin, Missouri. Sean was part of the graduating Class of 2024 in Diamond, Missouri. He worked at Wendy’s in Carthage.
Sean enjoyed building things and working on cars; he was very handy. He liked to fish with his Granddad. Sean loved animals of all kinds and being outdoors.
Sean is survived by his fiancé, Renee Council and baby, Amari William Schubert; his dad and stepmom, Aaron and Rochell Schubert; his mom and stepdad, Kelly and Justin Lane; five brothers, Gage Schubert, Justin Shields, Trenton Shields, Nash Lane, and Kelstin Lane; paternal grandparents, Michael and Tracy Hyett, and Terrell Schubert; paternal great grandparents, Chuck and Elaine Anderson, Bill Richey, and Cliff and June Schubert; maternal grandparents, Rodney and Linda Hayzlett, Lance and Cora Sharrock, Michelle and Dennis Clevenger, and Rebecca and Chris Lane; great grandparents, Patricia Cole and Anita and Vernon Lane; several aunts and uncles, cousins, and a large extended family.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church in Carthage, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024. Burial will follow services at Diamond Cemetery in Diamond, Missouri.
