Kenny McNamara

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

We bid a fond and funny farewell to Kenneth McNamara, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at Webb City Health and Rehab.

Born on October 28, 1962, in Orville, California, Kenneth was the life of the party from the very beginning. Known for his quick one-liners and dry wit, Kenneth was always ready to bring a smile to anyone who needed it. His humor was infectious, and he was often the last one laughing at his own jokes, making everyone around him laugh even harder.

Kenneth spent his time spreading humor and laughter around the town. Despite the trials of life, Kenneth always maintained a sense of humor, proving that laughter truly is the best medicine. Kenny was very involved with NA with his brother John, with over 15 years of sobriety.

Kenneth's love and laughter live on through his siblings, Nora de la Rosa of Carterville, John McNamara of Lakeside, Frank McNamara of Carterville, Phil McNamara of Lakeside, and Julie (Rick) Edens of Carl Junction; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He joins his beloved daughter Kendra, and his parents, John and Mary McNamara in heavenly peace.

A memorial service to celebrate Kenneth's life and laughter will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Route 66 Event Center, located at 21 South Webb Avenue in Webb City, with a meal to follow at the same venue. The service will be officiated by nephew Phillip McNamara.

The family encourages everyone who knew and loved Kenneth to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share their favorite "Kenneth" stories, jokes, and memories. We also invite you to upload photos of Kenneth, especially those that capture his infectious laughter and unforgettable smile.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home.
