Christy R. Stanford, 37, of Carthage, MO, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO
Christy was born on March 7, 1979 in Monett, MO to Larry and Donna (Velten) Stanford. She attended and graduated from Monett High School. She enjoyed traveling and seeing different museums. She was of the Catholic faith.
Christy is survived by her parents, one sister, Elizabeth Stanford of Marshfield, MO; her grandmother, Stella Velten of Pierce City, MO; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben & Wilma Stanford and George Velten.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
