James Hubert Coady, 89 passed away August 18, 2016 in Mt Vernon, Missouri.
James was born January 24, 1927 in Hattiesburg, Arkansas to John and Annie Coady. James was a lifetime Carthage resident and worked for 48 years at Steadley Manufacturing where he retired. He worked for the Carthage R-9 school system. James was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Carthage. James was in the United States Army and served in WW II.
James was united in marriage to Rose Mary Bishop May 10, 1941 in Columbus Kansas she preceded him in death August 30, 2015. James is survived by one son John S. Coady and wife Janice of Webb City, 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 27 great great grandchildren, one sister Mary Jane York of Joplin, MO and one son-in-Law Noel Dennis Ogle of Willow Springs, MO. James is preceded in death by his parents and wife, one daughter Rosetta Ogle, 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
