Peter J. “Pete” Morgan, 51 passed away in Carthage, Missouri July 30,2016.
Peter was born June 3, 1965 in Carthage, MO to Joseph John Morgan and Phyllis (Zent) Morgan. Pete was a lifetime Carthage resident and worked in the family business Morgan Pallets. He attended Grace Point Assembly of God Church and was a former member of the Knights of Pythias of Carthage.
Pete was united in marriage to Deborah LeAnn Cole November 13, 1986 at The First Christian Church of Carthage; she survives. Pete is survived by his wife and mother, one son Caleb Morgan and wife Rachael of Carthage, one granddaughter Hadley Renee Morgan, two sisters Brenda J. Hutchins, and Shannon R. Webster and husband Richard, one brother John L. “Monty” Morgan and wife Debbie all of Carthage, also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pete is preceded in death by his dad Joseph John Morgan and a brother-in-law Tom Hutchins and sister-in-law Cindy Yount.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Grace Point Assembly of God Church of Carthage. Visitation will be held prior to the services at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Grace Point Assembly of God Church of Carthage. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
