Brent Allen Shepherd, age 46 of Joplin, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home.
Brent was born September 12, 1970 in Joplin to Kenneth Shepherd and Donna Simpson Shepherd. He graduated in 1986 from Diamond High School and later attended classes at Missouri Southern and Crowder College. Brent worked as a Sales Manager for Wal-Mart and Joplin Rental Center. He loved to hunt, fish and just about anything outdoors.
He is survived by his parents, Kenny and Donna Shepherd of Joplin; son, Blake Shepherd of Joplin; daughter, Briauna Shepherd of Joplin; sister, Sheila Wright and husband, Shane of Galena, Kansas; brother, Curtis Shepherd and wife, Misty of Diamond; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Brent was preceded in death by all of his grandparents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 5, at 6:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
