Mrs. Dompelihna Capelle, 66, of Goodman, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Wednesday evening, November 8, 2017, from injuries sustained in an accident.
Dompelihna entered this life on January 28, 1951, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, daughter of the late Ezra and Renselihna Capelle. She was raised and spent most of her life in Micronesia, moving to Goodman, Missouri, in 2013. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of the First Micronesian Church of Christ in Goodman.
She is survived by her ten children, Manuelihda Charley of Goodman, Isamo Manuel of Goodman, Charlotte Manuel of Neosho, Delihna Ehmes of Pohnpei, Elizabeth Elias of Utah, Osamo Manuel of Goodman, Lucille Manuel of Springfield, Sasiwo Manuel of Wisconsin, Justin Endere of Goodman and Jessica Ioanis of Germany; thirty-one grandchildren; four sisters; five brothers; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Capelle will began on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. at the First Micronesian Church of Christ in Goodman, Missouri. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Howard Cemetery in Goodman. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
