Phyllis J. Boydston, age 81 of Duenweg, Mo., passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, Ok. following an illness.
Phyllis was born on November 13, 1936 in Palmer, Ak., the daughter of Pearl and Dorothy (Post) Archer. She has been a long-time area resident, Phyllis worked as a nurse for many years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Joplin, Mo.
She married Dale Boydston on April 24, 1995, he preceded her in death on August 14, 2014. Phyllis was also preceded by her parents, two brothers; Ralph and Robert Archer, and two sisters; Betty Gardner and Irene Kalua. She is survived by three daughters; Bonnie Beauchamp, Linda Dale and Mary Womack, a son; Daniel Gillham, Jr., a brother; Floyd Archer, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastors Larry Cansler and Jeff Werda, will officiate. Burial will follow at Burkhart Cemetery in Racine, Mo. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at 12:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
