Ruby A. Kinser, age 98, of Jenkins, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 15, 1919 in Barry County, Missouri the daughter of Thomas Marty and Minnie (Beeson) Ennis. On September 22, 1937 she was united in marriage to Clyde Stockton who preceded her in death on April 8, 1959. On April 22, 1960 she married John Kinser who died August 2, 1972. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Arlis Stockton; seven sisters, Vicey Brooks, Elma Bishop, Esther Bowers, Gracie Elliott, Thelma Weaver, Lora Hammond and Myra Wierman and one grandson, Jakie Stockton.
Surviving are one son, Duane Stockton and his wife Maxine of Jenkins, Missouri; two daughters, Shirley Maye Gallup and her husband Leonard of Higginsville, Missouri and Randa Gayle Poppe of Alba, Missouri and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Ruby grew up and received her education in Barry County. She attended Union Chapel Church. One of her favorite pastimes was quilting and she loved gardening and being outdoors.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Loy Bowen will conduct the services.
