Helen Elizabeth Riggs, age 73, Webb City, MO passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her home.
She was born October 21, 1944 in Joplin, to the late Emmett S. O'Connell and Alice R Cook O'Connell. A homemaker, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Webb City.
Helen married Robert Eugene Riggs, Sr. on July 22, 1967. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2015.
Survivors include a son, Robert Riggs, Jr., Webb City; a daughter, Mary Riggs , Joplin; and two granddaughters, Cassandra Dopps and husband, Dillon, Webb City and Katrina DeGonia, Joplin.
Funeral services are planned for Thursday, November 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with Pastor Gary Balfour, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
