David Samuel Lee Dye, age 54, Carl Junction, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Mercy of Joplin after a sudden illness.

David was born November 5, 1970 in Redwood, CA, and worked for O’Reilly Auto Parts on 7th Street in Joplin for the past 15 years. He was a quite gentleman who loved spending time with his friend Bea going to Branson enjoying the shows.

Survivors include his sister, Tamera Newlin of Ponca City, OK; friends, Beatrice Bryan and Kevin Lane both of Carl Junction.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with no formal services planned at this time.
