Pam Land

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

With heavy hearts and grateful memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Pam Land on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71. She left this world surrounded by the family she deeply cherished and devoted her life to.

Born on January 8, 1954, Pam was a force of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. A proud wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids—always ready with a hug, a game, or a story.

Pam lived with a heart full of adventure and a spirit that embraced every moment. Whether she was antiquing (she could spot a treasure a mile away), foraging for morel mushrooms, casting a line in her favorite fishing spot, chasing the thrill of a horse race or a casino win, or soaking up the sun on any beach she could find—Pam brought energy, joy, and curiosity to everything she did.

She was the strongest woman—resilient, brave, and always leading with love. Her strength carried her through every challenge and made her a steady foundation for our family.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Land of Anderson; her mother, Barbara Geisser of Stockton; her children, Trina and Brian Hargis of Nixa, and Nick and Tiffany Land of Anderson; her sisters, Lynn and Duane Hubbard of Stockton, Rhonda and Paul Wallain of Arcola, and Krissie and Darin Brookseick of Stockton; grandchildren, Lauren and Kyle Cummings of Springfield, Alexis Hargis, Sammi Hargis, Bailey and Jose Gallardo of Anderson, Kaiden, Konner, and Kooper Land; and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Abigail, and Lunna Gallardo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bud Geisser; her mother-in-law, Toni Kilgore; and her brother, John Geisser.

As we say goodbye, we carry her spirit forward in every weenie roast, every mushroom hunt, and every family gathering where laughter rings louder because she was once there. Pam leaves behind a legacy of deep love and countless cherished memories. Her strength lives on will all of us.
