(From Midland Cremation Society)Danny "Red" Dean Duncan, 72, of Granby, Missouri, formerly of Stella, Missouri passed away February 27th, 2026, in his home, surrounded by family.
Danny was born November 23rd, 1953 in Bethpage, Missouri son of Harold and Erma (Haynes) Duncan. He attended Neosho high school. Danny had a rebellious free spirited heart but he valued hard work, he could fix anything, and believed in doing it right the first time, something he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Danny had a love of fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with family. He formerly worked for Le-Ru Telephone Company in Stella for 20 plus yrs and retired from Osage Door in Miami, Oklahoma.
Danny is survived by two children, Phillip and spouse Candace Fansler, and Stephanie Mojica, five grandchildren: Leah and spouse Alex Sunday, Brittany and spouse Derrick Nesbitt, Emily Mojica, Megan Fansler, Elijah Mojica and two great grandkids Areya and Jayden who frequently enjoyed receiving "Poppy dollars" and raiding his stash of tootsie rolls; siblings Pamela Barnet, Christina Duncan, Randy Duncan, Ricky Duncan and numerable nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold "Toot" and Erma Duncan; sisters Barbara Bistadeau Sorrell, and Patricia Sturgis; and one brother, Billy Duncan.
At the request of Danny, no funeral services will be held.
