(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Harry F. Richards Jr., 78, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on February 17, 2026, after a recent battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. Harry was born on October 12, 1947, in Potosi, Missouri, to Harry F. Richards Sr. and Cora E. Boyer.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sandra Richards. He is survived by his children, Glen Richards, John Richards of Rogers AR, Chuck Richards and his wife Shirley of Anderson MO, and April Steinberg and her husband Jacob of Springboro OH; his stepchildren, Leon Miller of Anderson MO and Kathy Lemay and her husband Edward of Chetopa KS; and his niece, Sue Richards of Anderson MO. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry F. Richards Sr. and Cora E. Boyer; his sisters, Goldie Williams, Alice Aubert, and Idabell Boyer; his brothers, Kenneth Richards, Donald Richards, Charles Richards, David Richards, and John Richards; and his stepdaughter, Barbara Priest.
Harry dedicated 32 years of his life working as a laborer at Hudson Foods and Tyson Foods. He took great pride in his work and in providing for his family, demonstrating a strong work ethic and steady commitment throughout his career.
Outside of work, Harry enjoyed fishing, working on cars and lawnmowers, and playing the guitar. Whether he was casting a line, repairing an engine, or strumming a favorite tune, he found joy in keeping busy and sharing those moments with others.
Harry’s life was defined by his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the simple joys he found in everyday life He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Harry wanted to be cremated, the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
