Dorothy Z. Spurling, age 91, passed away Friday October 2, at the Medical Lodge of Nevada,
Dorothy was born January 12, 1924 in Willard Wisconsin to Anton and Mary Hegler Janezich, one of 12 children she grew up on the family farm in Wisconsin which is now home to her only surviving brother, Henry. As a young woman she married George Creamer . They eventually settled in Liberal near Georges family. George passed away June 24, 1969. She married Elbert Spurling in 1984 . Elbert passed away May 26, 1988. Dorothy loved the outdoors, and she enjoyed camping and Gardening. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Liberal and the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed the friendship and activities of the Red Hatters.
Dorothy is survived by her son Evert Wayne Creamer, Step sons Earl, Merle and Kenny Spurling, a step daughter Betty Reagan, 15 grand children and numerous great and great great grand children. She is also survived by her brother Henry Janezich who remains on the family farm in Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her parents , Husbands George Creamer and Elbert Spurling, 10 siblings and a step son Bill Spurling.
