Joyce Mendenhall

Joyce Ann Mendenhall, 70, of Monett, MO, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

Joyce was born on January 19, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Bud and Bernice (Windecker) Smith. Joyce worked for many years as an LPN at the Shady Rest Nursing Home.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Mike Mendenhall; two daughters, Tammy Dunaway and husband Nick and Tonya Baysinger and husband Jon; two brothers, Mike Smith and Clinton Smith; one sister, Janet Monte; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Mitchell; one brother, Jeff Smith; and one sister, Debbie Collins.

A celebration service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
