Gary Kerr

Garry Lee Kerr, age 76, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at his home. He was born November 14, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Lanford Lee and Doris Irene (Moller) Kerr.

Garry was a 1968 graduate of Marionville High School in Marionville, Missouri, and was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Garry worked in maintenance for Kelly Greens Apartments in Springfield, Missouri, and was a ticket agent for Greyhound Bus in Springfield, Missouri, for 15 years. He was a member of the Curtis Chapel Baptist Church.








On March 26, 1973, he married Linda Sue King, in Joplin, Missouri.

Garry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda; one daughter, Merrilee Klingaman and her husband, Joshua, of Mexico, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Crysten Rodriguez and her husband, Nelson, of Branson, Missouri, Austin Reid and his wife, Rio, of Japan, Landin Reid and his fiancé, Ashley of Aurora, Missouri, Destinee Reid of Joplin, Missouri, Autumn Younger and her husband, Remington, of Verona, Missouri, Jayda Rydholm of Mexico, Missouri, Dominick Rydholm of Pierce City, Missouri and Kaison Klingaman of Mexico, Missouri; one sister, Freddie Ann Hancock and her husband, Steve, of Nixa, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.








Garry was preceded in death by his parents, Lanford and Doris and one brother, Dennis Kerr.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, with burial to follow at Campground Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the funeral home chapel.
