(From Arnold Moore and Neekamp Funeral Home)Gloria Gail Gourley, 69, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, surrounded by family.
Born on June 28, 1956, in Carthage, Missouri, Gloria was the daughter of Virgil and Vi Neely.
Gloria was known for her love of golfing with her grandsons, flea market shopping with family and friends, vacationing with loved ones, traveling with friends, reading, decorating, and playing bingo with her daughter and granddaughter. She found joy in everything she did and will be remembered for her unconditional love and humor.
Gloria married her husband, Jesse Lee Gourley Jr., affectionately known as Jess, on May 25, 1973. As an Air Force spouse for 20 years, she traveled alongside him while he was stationed in Missouri, Texas, New York, Alaska, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. During this time, Gloria worked as a Reorder Associate before the family eventually returned to Carthage, Missouri. She later retired after 11 years of working as an Orthodontic Assistant.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Gourley Jr., parents Virgil and Vi Neely, and brothers Jimmy ‘Jim’ Neely, Donald Neely and Ronald Neely. She is survived by her children, Misty (Mark) Eighmy and Jesse (Callie) Gourley III; her grandchildren, Samantha (Alex) Dearman, Dausen Gourley, Andrew Eighmy, and Hunter Gourley; her great-granddaughter, Ava Dearman; her siblings, Robert (Norma) Neely, Mike Neely, David (Hazel) Neely, Diana Foster, and Sherry (Brian) Hayden; and her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on February 7, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Methodist Church in Carthage, Missouri. Visitation will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

She had such a beautiful personality and was always so joyful to be around! It was such a pleasure to golf with her on our Monday night league, we all shared many good laughs and she was a great golfer. Rest in peace dear Gloria, I will miss you🙏
