(From Westfield Funeral Chapel)Richard Lee Glines, born in Carthage, MO April 2, 1938, to Ralph and Francis Glines, passed away peacefully in his sleep Jan 18, 2026.
Richard was a talented engineer and draftsman, and his many hobbies included knife and gun designing and aluminum casting. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and traditional mountain man rendezvous with his lifelong buddies and boys.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, Mildred Wilson, Norma Taylor, Evelyn Kester, Peggy Sadler and a son-in-law Fred Jack.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Doris Evelyn Glines, their 4 children, Theresa Jack of Lowell, Greg Glines and wife Lois of Springdale, Kimber Thompson and wife Sharon of Springdale and Kirk Glines of Lowel, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Richard will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
