Jack King, age 73, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Born on June 12, 1952, in Marshfield, Missouri, Jack was the son of James Edward and Flora Roberta (Myers) King. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that reflected his strong sense of duty, loyalty, and patriotism.

On December 6, 2004, Jack married Carol McQueary, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Together they shared 21 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Jack lived life with a deep appreciation for freedom, family, and the simple joys that made each day meaningful. He felt most at peace on his motorcycle, chasing the thrill of the open road. When he wasn’t riding, he could often be found in the garage, happily tinkering with hot rods and engines, always working on his next project.

Some of Jack’s most treasured moments were spent shooting guns with his children and loved to watch football and baseball. He was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cincinnati Reds, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. Above all, Jack cherished time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life.
