(From Clark Funeral Home)Zang Toua Vang of Fairview, Missouri passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 64 years, 7 months, and 2 days. Zang was born on June 15, 1961, in Laos to Bla Cha Vang and Zoua Lee.
Zang and Chi Xiong were married in 1978 in Laos.
In his younger years, Zang enjoyed playing sports like soccer, volleyball, and spin top. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, especially for squirrels and deer, and net fishing.
Zang was an auto mechanic by trade but was known for his natural ability as a plumber and a handyman. If he had the right tools, he could fix just about anything.
He was a wonderful husband to Chi, a loving father to his children, and an adoring grandpa (Yawm) to his grandchildren. His example taught them to be patient, live well, care for others, love each other.
Zang will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Chi Xiong; his children: Khai Vang, Mai Vang (Ge Yang), Lance Vang (Bao L. Her), Sue Vang, Pa Vang (Sam Vue), Lia Vang (Eric Yang), Ger Vang (Nkauj Zoo Yang), Jessica Vang (Brandon Lee), Linda Vang (Tony Moua), and Nancy Vang (Seng Vue); 25 grandchildren; one brother, Leng Vang (Chong Xiong); and one sister, Koua Vang.
He was preceded in death by his son, Txeeg Vang, sister, Lue Vang, and brother-in-law Pao Vue.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 8:00am until 10:00pm. A Funeral service will be held from 8:00am until 12:00 noon on Monday, February 9, 2026, also at Clark Funeral Home in Granby. A Graveside service at Granby Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.
Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
