Terry Devins

Terry D. Devins, 73, of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Joplin.

Terry was born on August 7, 1951, in Granby, Missouri.

He was a lifetime area resident.

He was a 1969 graduate of Diamond High School.








He was the Building Maintenance Supervisor for the Joplin R-8 School District for 25 years before retiring in November 2005.

He was a member of the Tennessee Prairie Friends Church in Galena, Kansas.

He served our country by serving in the US Army.

He was the Past President of the Seneca Saddle Club, member of the 3 State Family Boat Club, American Paint Horse Association, he was also in the movie “Baldknobbers” and was an avid supporter of the Kidney Foundation.

He enjoyed woodworking, horse riding, boating, and camping.

He married Imogene Hoke on October 18, 1985, in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives.
Other survivors include two sons; Terry (Camy) Devins and Trevor (Pam) Devins all of Sarcoxie, Missouri, one daughter; Tina Rainey of Joplin, Missouri, one step-son; John David Rossman of Pineville, Missouri, two step-daughters; Sheri (Terry) Bruner of Park Hill, Oklahoma and Robin (Keith) Zentner of Joplin, Missouri, two sisters; Norma Wormington of Wentworth, Missouri and Rita Rainey of Joplin, Missouri, 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter; Teisha Dawn Devins, one step-son; Don Eric Rossman, a son in-law; Joseph Rainey, his parents; Harold Leroy and Ruth Margedean Bryan Devins, one granddaughter; Tiffany Dawn Rossman and one great grandson; Jordan Brock.








Services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Pastor Geoff Buffalo, officiating.

There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri with full military honors to be conducted.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Tennessee Prairie Friends Church in c/o of the funeral home.
