Eunice Cantrell

Eunice A. Cantrell, 78, Diamond, entered into rest on June 18, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness. 

 Eunice was born July 21, 1939 in Saginaw, MO, one of five children to Walter M. and Lorene (Powers) Anderson. She attended elementary school at Lake Hill and Stoney Point and graduated from Diamond High School in 1957. 
 
She married Carol Leon Cantrell on June 14, 1957 and were blessed with three children. Their family moved to North Missouri in 1965 and following Carol’s retirement, returned to Diamond in 1996. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. 
 
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Jo Burnett and husband, Don; Kelly Jae Stone and a son, John Walter Tyler Cantrell; one brother, Walter Franklin Anderson and wife, Genevieve; two granddaughters, Britney Lyons and husband, Nathan and Kiley Lee and husband, Victor; two grandsons, Ryan Carter and wife, Dustine and Casey Burnett and wife, Alyssa; great grandchildren, Joel and Mason Carter; Jacob, William, Maria and Leila Burnett; Malachi and Gabriel Lee and a baby boy Lee on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and a brother.

The family will receive friends at a time of visitation Thursday evening from 6 to7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby.

Services will be Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Pastor Paul Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Saginaw Cemetery.
