Lindsey Dieckhoff

Lindsey Marie Dieckhoff, 26, of rural Pierce City, MO, passed from this life on Wednesday evening, June 20, 2018, while at Cox Monett Hospital following a sudden illness.

Lindsey was born on January 30, 1992 in Springfield, MO, daughter of Tim and Barbara Dieckhoff. Following her graduation from Pierce City High School with the class of 2010, Lindsey graduated from the Professional Massage Training Center in Springfield. For the last several years, Lindsey had worked as a Massage Therapist at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City and enjoyed hiking at Big Cedar, camping and spending time outdoors and especially loved playing with her dog, Jax, who preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Tim and Barbara Dieckhoff, of Pierce City; her sisters, Kayla Dieckhoff, of Pierce City, Amanda Zungura and husband Obed, of Kansas City, MO and Laura Gouvion and husband Jacob, of Wichita, KS; her maternal grandmother, Ann Kennedy, of Monett; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Gladys Dieckhoff, of Diamond, MO; and a host of extended family and friends.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Melvin Kennedy.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City. Father Paul McLoughlin will be officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the church with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic School c/o the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
