Ray Crabaugh

Ray “Skip” Crabaugh, age 61, Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at home.

A lifelong resident of Joplin, Ray was born on November 26, 1956 to Ray Edward, Sr. and Loma Wall Crabaugh. His parents preceded him in death. Ray worked as a heating and air technician. He served in the United States Army Reserves.

Ray loved baseball and was a proud Kansas City Royals fan. He enjoyed football and cheered for the Miami Dolphins. He loved music, especially the Rolling Stones. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his great-nephew.

Survivors include his sister, Susan Spencer, of Joplin; a niece, Megan Pickering and husband Aron, of Joplin; his great-nephew, Jagger Ray Pickering, of Joplin and a host of treasured friends.

Memorial services are planned for 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Parker Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Outpatient Dialysis Center at Freeman East, 932 East 34th Street, Joplin, Missouri 64804.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

  1. Ray was a super kind guy. I had just seen and spoke to him the prior Friday and he had the aint noone going to get me down attitude. Such a sweetie. My deepest sympathies.
