Jerry D. Mason, age 73, of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home.
He was born March 25, 1945 in Barry County, Missouri to Woodrow L. and Anna Mae (Roller) Mason, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Willie and Donnie Mason.
He was united in marriage to Louise May and to this union two sons were born. Surviving are his sons, Rick Mason and his wife Carolyn of Marionville, Missouri and Kentry Mason of Lawrence County, Missouri; three brothers, Gene Mason of Rocky Comfort, Missouri, Bob Mason of Goodman, Missouri and James Mason and his wife Pam of Greenland, Arkansas; one sister, Virginia Easley of Exeter, Missouri and one granddaughter, Haylie Mason.
Jerry attended school and graduated from Wheaton High School. Most of his life was spent in Barry County. For many years he was a truck driver for Vaughn Construction in Monett, Missouri. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, cooking, gardening and he loved flowers.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 25, 2018 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Larry Henbest will conduct the services. Burial will be in King Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with monument expenses.
