Bonnie A. Higgins, age 93, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri.
She was born January 13, 1925 in Narcissa, Oklahoma the daughter of John Robert and Minnie Alice (Phillips) Andrews. On August 8, 1944 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Charles Hiesler Higgins, who preceded her in death on November 26, 1992. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two daughters, Jane Ellen Higgins and Carol Anne McNiece and two brothers, Delmar Andrews and Bobby Andrews.
Surviving are one daughter, Bobbi Lombard and her husband David of Cassville, Missouri; three brothers, Jerry Andrews and his wife Barbara of Cassville, Missouri, Lynnes Andrews and his wife Carol Mae of Carthage, Missouri and Jimmie Andrews and his wife Sharon of Appleton, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Kelly McNiece and his wife Krista, Jeffrey Lombard and his wife Chrissy, Kathryn Morgan and her husband Larry and Hilary Anders and her husband Dillon and five great grandchildren.
Bonnie grew up and received her education in Oklahoma and graduated from high school in Miami, Oklahoma in 1943. For twenty-one years she was employed at AT&T, retiring as senior production specialist. In 1993 she moved from Oklahoma City to Cassville to make her home. She was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
