Dave Cochran

David A. “Dave” Cochran, 57, of Parsons, passed away at 7:10 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Labette Health Emergency Room.

He was born on December 12, 1960 at Gary, Indiana to Karl and Joan Cochran. The family moved to Seneca, Missouri where he grew up and attended schools.

He moved to Tulsa where he lived for several years before moving to Parsons in 2001. He worked for Amazon in Coffeyville and did various jobs. He was primarily a homemaker.

He and Rose (Rhodenbaugh) Doyle were married on March 3, 2003 at Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

Dave loved all kinds of music and played the guitar. He enjoyed his family and working in his yard. He was artistically creative and excelled at painting and drawing. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by a stepdaughter, Tricia Mills, and her husband, James of Oswego; step-grandchildren, Mary, Mayson, Noah, and Chance Mills of Oswego; his sisters, Ann Cochran of Anderson, MO and Gail Cook of Carthage, MO; several nieces and nephews including Dalton Cook and Darick Cochran; his mother-in-law, Karen Rhodenbaugh of Chetopa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Joshua Rhodenbaugh; two brothers, Grover Cochran and Dale Cochran.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be held in the Harmony Grove Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses and these may be left or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357.
