He was born May 27, 1953 in Neosho, Missouri, the son of Clyde Sanders Jr. and Bonnie (Lewis) Sanders.
In 1972, he was united in marriage to Brenda Cargile, who preceded him in death in 1973, along with their unborn child. Also preceding him death were his parents and two nieces, Karissa Walburn and Jera Sanders.
Surviving are two brothers, Rick Sanders and Eddie Sanders; three sisters, Rita Scholes, Tamara Weems, and Angie Dunn and several nieces and nephews.
JR was a life-long resident of the Boulder City area and graduated from East Newton High School in 1972. He enjoyed hunting, his dogs and spending time with his friends. JR was best known for being a great friend and uncle. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
