At her home, Linda Sue Schoonover, age 71, of Fairview, Missouri, passed away at 9:58 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021. On October 10, 1950, she was born in Wheaton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Bessie (Blanke) Morgan.

On September 23, 1982, she married Hallie Charles Schoonover in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2020.

Linda worked as a home health nurse and as a physical therapy assistant for Home of Hope.

She loved decorating her home and had a special way of turning the ordinary into something spectacular. Her favorite pastime was antiquing, especially with her family. Linda was a devoted caregiver for her daughter, Tina, and loved spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melinda (Brian) Odom of Forsyth, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Bryce, Delaney (Tyler), Hallie, Kayla (Reid), Devin, Michael, and Zach, with one great-grandbaby on the way; two brothers, Junior (Betty) Morgan of Fairview, Missouri, Jim (Sharon) Morgan of Stark City, Missouri; one sister, Marie (Wayne) Coleman of Washington State; her very close friend who was like a daughter, Lori (Shaw) Poorboy of Pryor, Oklahoma and best friend, Beth Bradshaw of Lenapah, Oklahoma.

In addition to her parents and husband, her daughter, Tina Hesslen, preceded her.

Under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Dice Cemetery in Fairview. Pastor Tony Intessimone will officiate.
