Charlie Guy

Charles “Charlie” Edward Guy, age 86, of Granby, Missouri, passed away at 12:36 a.m. on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home. 

He was born August 10, 1935, in Garfield, Arkansas, to the late Thomas and Thelma (Bishop) Guy. Charles served in the U.S. Army for the Missouri National Guard #203. 








He married Janice Howard in Miami, Oklahoma, in 1974, and together they shared 47 years of marriage. Charles retired from Talbot Wire in Neosho after 48 years of service. He was a member of the Stella United Methodist Church, Ozark Saddle Club, and the Newton County Mounted Sheriff Posse. Charles thoroughly loved horses and cattle and enjoyed doing anything outside.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Janice; one daughter, Christy Guy of Joplin, Missouri; one son, Michael Larson of Granby; three granddaughters, Tara (Todd) Clouse, Ashley (Seth) Alford, and Autumn Larson; extended family, Jerry and Debbie Peterson, Stacy Howard; godsons, Mike and Brian Sharp, and Mike Sharp, and numerous, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, his daughter, Cheryl Harper, and son, Cory Guy, preceded him in death.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri.
