Jim Shaw

James Stanley Shaw, age 83, Carl Junction, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, December 16, 2021.

Jim was born June 5, 1938 in Lamar, Missouri, son of the late James Frank Shaw and Bernice Marie (Simmons) Shaw. He was a proud farmer all of his life, and worked at Sears, Roebuck & Company from the age of 18 until his retirement. He then worked for many years with Crossland Construction Co. in Columbus, Kansas where he was loved by all.








He was also a faithful member of Frisco Church of Webb City where he served as a board member for many years.

He married Rolena Jane Lambeth on April 25, 1957 in Miami, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rolena; three children, James Douglas Shaw of Carl Junction, Kimberley Gay Southern (Mike) also of Carl Junction, and Shonda Kay Crossland (Bennie) of Joplin; four grandchildren, Ashley Southern-DeVoe, Katherine Lynn Grisolano, James Jordan Shaw, Collin Michael Crossland; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Frisco Church of Webb City with Pastor Matt Snyder officiating. Private family interment will be in Nashville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Frisco Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Overcoming Children Fund.
