Nancy Chase

Nancy Chase, 76, of Fairland, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She entered this life on September 20, 1945 in Anderson, Missouri born to the late, Virgil and Bertha (Snow) Divine. 

On May 22, 1972 in Anderson, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Sonny Chase. She managed Seven Valley Truck Stop in Anderson, Missouri and worked at the Ranch House Restaurant in Fairland, Oklahoma; her favorite and happiest time was working in the Blowers Nursing Home, which later became Cinnamon Hills Nursing Home, in Lanagan, Missouri. 








Nancy never knew a stranger; she enjoyed talking on the phone and visiting with her friends, she was very social. Nancy sincerely loved her grandkids and great grandkids; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Virgie Spears and Tressie Shaver; a brother, Olen Divine.

Those left to share Nancy’s memory are her husband Sonny Chase of the home; children, Tom Smith and his wife Kathy of Miami, OK, Larry Wilson of Miami, OK, Kenneth Chase and his wife Kimberly of Fairland, OK and Michelle Morris and husband Patrick of Fairland, OK; sisters, Elizabeth Ballard of Goodman MO, and Betty Qualls and her husband Elk of Anderson, MO; her grandchildren Johnna Smith, Emily Morris, Karly Chase, Kasey Chase, Jacob Morris, Bethany Hart, Dustin Witten, Rachel Rider and along with nine great-grandchildren, and her great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews as well as a host of family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 in the New Bethel Cemetery with Pastor Jackie Crafton, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
