Michael Pace

Michael Todd Pace, age 50, of Carthage, Missouri departed from this life to be with his Lord and Savior December 17, 2021. He passed at Freeman Hospital due to complications from liver failure.

Michael was born at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, Missouri on December 23, 1970, the son of Gary Michael “Mick” Pace and Judy Pace. He lived his entire life in the Carthage and Joplin area. 










Michael graduated from Carthage High School in 1989 where he was an honor student throughout his school days. He graduated college with a degree in business and finance from the University of Arkansas and was a member of the Carthage High School golf team and the University of Arkansas Razorback team. 

In his younger years he was employed with the Carthage Golf Course, later at Pro-100 Real Estate and Southwest Missouri Bank. Michael enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing but most of all he loved the time spent with his daughters. He was a member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Joplin.

He is survived by two daughters, Breanna Pace and Rachel Pace; his mother, Judy Pace and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceding him in death were his father, Gary Michael “Mick” Pace; maternal grandparents, Jack and Virginia Nowlin and paternal grandparents, Charles and Maxine Pace.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Joplin under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Britton Fields will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Joplin.
