(From Meadors Funeral Home)Dennis Michael Decker was born in Lamar, MO on February 25, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Decker & June & Clarence Lehr, and his brother Bruce Decker, Jr.
Dennis grew up in Pierce City, MO and graduated from Pierce City High School in 1968.
He married Aronda Ross in December 1972, and they moved to Republic in May 1973.
Together, they raised three children: Kristen, Jared, and Ryan. Dennis was the proud grandfather of three amazing grandchildren.
He loved relaxing outside on the back patio, taking care of his yard, and eating BBQ and German Chocolate Cake.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Aronda Decker and his three children and their spouses: Kristen & Chris Fischer, Jared & Brooke Decker, and Ryan & Kaitlyn Decker.
He is also survived by Savannah & Noah Decker, children of Jared & Brooke, and Harvey Decker, son of Ryan and Kaitlyn. He was an AVID Green Bay Packers fan, and you DID NOT talk Dallas Cowboys in his house.
